Description
one of the most unique and detailed documents i have ever encountered. this 1686  10 X 105  inch Leicestershire scroll is filled with knights and place details, names and numbers  -  also signed at the end illegible for me. i used the service of latin expert meredith dixon to translate it, and she translated most of  the first 6 parts out of the 10 parts ,  the scroll is divided to, and i bring it down here together with the original latin text. IF YOU WANT TO READ YOURSELF : the scroll  is too long to scan it all so i scanned it into 10 readable parts, you may see in the photos. document was appraised 2000 - 4000 GBP , but it was appraised by an israeli appraiser and i have no clue if he  aimed low or high, and i also know nothing about english documents. sure worth much, never seen such a doc. here is the scroll translation by meredith : (first the latin text and than the translation , most out of 6 out of the 10 parts)   Part 1In Magno Rotulo de Anno Tricesmo Sexto nuper Regis Caroli Secundi in --Leic.
