Email me if you are looking for a particular "view".   This chart came out of the USC&GS  "ATLANTIC COAST PILOT, DIVISION B,  BOSTON TO NEW YORK, SECOND EDITION 1880". The paper is not the heavy chart paper but is not the light paper like the Coast Survey charts which come out of Coast Surveys of earlier years. This is an edition of the "Atlantic Coast Pilot" not "Coast Survey". This paper has a watermark which is "CRANE & CO.  DALTON, MASS. 1880". It is a light but tough paper.   These charts were folded and will be shipped that way. They need to be flattened. They are black ink on light off white paper. These charts can be hand colored. Fantastic detail.   This chart is "ENTRANCE TO NANTUCKET SOUND". Fantastic detail of this area of Cape Cod and The Islands. At the bottom of the chart is the NE tip of Nantucket with Squam Head, Pocomo Head, Great Point with Nantucket Light. Then up across the Nantucket Shoals to Monomoy Island. Then up the Chatham area up to Chatham Lights. West along Cape Cod towns of Harwich Port and West Harwich.  Many Light House and Life Saving Stations are shown.
