Front and back hinges cracked and tapped, just barely holding but covers are present and otherwise generally good. Some external scuffing, mainly on spine. Description: This edition of Pilgrim's Progress is bound in a leather/wood binding. The wood was derived from Bunyan's church in Elstow (England). Note on front and back covers reads, "Warranted made of the Oak taken from Elstow Church previous to restoration 1880." Front cover has gilt title and gilt facsimile signature on wood portion, as well as photoengravure illustration of John Bunyan. Gilt page edges. Title page reads, "The Elstow Edition.
