"Alphonse Mucha 1899 Art Collection" Alphonse Mucha 1899 Art Collection "FOUR TIMES OF THE DAY" Offered for your viewing pleasure and possible bid to purchase is this "Very Rare" Alphonse Mucha Art Collection. The most current appraisal was done by an appraiser very familiar with Art Nouveau and Alphonse Mucha's artwork. Approximately every 10 years the lithographs were removed from frames inspected and museum quality re-matted and re framed. The lithographs are NOT mounted. Thank You & Good Luck! INTERNATIONAL SALES & SHIPPING NO PROBLEM "September 2003 Appraisal" COMPLETE SET OF 4 PANELS BY ALPHONSE MUCHA (1860 – 1939) A. FOUR TIMES OF THE DAY. 1899. The complete set of four color lithographs. Rennert & Weill 62, the original large format with each panel printed on separate sheet. (there exist two reduced format variants). Framed (not examined out of frames but do not appear to be mounted). Uniform set in very good condition with exceptionally fresh colors (rarely found thus). 41½" x 15½" a) Evil due Matin. A large horizontal tear across the upper image ca. 7" down from the upper border and another in lower right of image ca. 4½" long, both inpainted. Visible but not obtrusive. b) Eclat du Jour. A tear in center left margin, image unaffected. c) Reverie du Soir. Fine apart from an occasional foxmark. d) Repos de la Nuit. An unobtrusive repaired horizontal tear at lower left extending ca. ¼" into image.
