Part Number: Antique Mantle Description: This is an antique hand carved wooden fireplace mantle that was removed from a late 19th century Boston home that is in the process of being renovated. This unit is in two separate pieces as shown in the first two photos, the remainder of the photos are of some of the detail seen on the overall piece. It is in good condition but does have some minor damage that it has accrued through the years which is to be expected with most pieces of this age. It will require cleaning and likely refinishing to before being installed. Check out a bit of the history on the house it came from at http://304commonwealth.com/index.htm When the two pieces are assembled it will stand at a little over 9'8" high, so make sure that your ceilings are high enough to accommodate that. Measurements:Bottom half - 82" wide, 54.25" tall and 13.5" deep with a 65" wide and 45" tall opening for a fireplace. Top half - 80" wide, 62" tall and 7.5" deep with a 46" wide by 33" tall opening for a mirror or painting to be installed in.All of the dimensions are maximums, if you need a measurement at a specific point just ask and we can get it for you.
