The mantel has been professionally refinished and looks great. The mantel has a medium tone oak stain with a hand rubbed tongue oil finish. The fireplace opening measures 36" X 35 5/8", the mantel has a beveled mirror that measures 17 1/2" X 35 1/2" and the mirror is in mint condition. The tiger oak wood grain of the mantel is extremely beautiful and very eye catching. The mantel has full fluted columns and at the top of each column is a carved leaf design. There is a flower and ribbon design above the opening which adds to the mantels beauty. The mantel has a really nice dentil trim around the beveled mirror and additional dentil trim above the opening. The mantel already has a hole on each top corner so it could be mounted to the wall. This beautiful tiger oak mantel would look great in a home or office.
