The fireplace opening measures 38 5/8" X 41 1/2" and the 1 1/4" beveled mirror measures 17 3/8" X 35 1/2" and is in mint condition. The old mantel came out of an old house that was being torn down in Lebanon, TN. The mantel has unusual large columns and some of the oak wood in the mantel is quarter sawn and it's very eye catching. The finish on the mantel is original but it has been cleaned and a coat of sanding sealer has been applied. This old mantel is in great condition and would be a very nice addition to your home.
