The special flaring shape was beautifully rounded, and flatened on the sides, then delicately polished. Both side of the hole show evidence of the ancient biconical piercing technique. A wonderful desert patina embellishes this ancient little beauty. No modern damage, very well preserved. Origin : Found in the Western Sahara desert, Africa. Dating, hominid : This bead belongs to the Neolithique Culture, circa 5 000 years ago, and was conceived by Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
