Cutting : This particular piece was created using clay, mixed with a certain amount of shredded straw, and baked. It was delicately covered with a mix of dark red clay and water, then it was baked again. This extraordinary vessel presents the unusual shape of a calabash, with the top part smaller than the bottom one.... MUSEUM QUALITY ! Dating, hominid : This piece belongs to the Neolithic Culture , (circa 5 000 years ago), and were conceived by Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Origin : This exceptional vessel was found in Western Sahara.
