The beautifully grained rosewood on both the top and front of the box is decorated with a swirling acanthus leaf inlay. The box opens to reveal a tray with divided compartments, and a large well below it. The underside of the lid is fitted with a pocket pouch embellished with satin and tooled leather. The piece rests on four ball feet. Condition is very good and there are no losses to the inlay. It measures 5 3/4" high, 7 3/4" deep and 10 1/4" in length.
