This wonderful Chinese porcelain covered jar has a nice form with a rich blue monochrome glaze. It is decorated with four scenic enamel painted panels around the body with two additional scenes on the cover. It dates from the early Qing Dynasty, we feel it is 18th Century and measures 16 + 1/8 inches tall by 10 inches across the shoulder. It is in excellent condition with the exception off a drill hole in the bottom and the cover is missing the final, also having a drill hole. Also there is a small chip along the inside of the rim. It is being sold as is. Shipping, Handling, and Insurance Charges will be paid by Buyer. Insurance is optional, but highly recommended, as we will not be responsible for any loss or damage on uninsured items.
