This outstanding ornate French frame is made of gold gilt bronze. It is decorated with a wreath of holly berries and leaves around the edge with four scenes of women and cherubs. It has a large crossed torch & quiver with flowers on the top. It dates from the late 19th Century and measures 21 + ¾ inches tall by 17 + ¾ inches across. The oval glass area in the center measures approximately 12 inches tall by 9 inches across. It is in excellent condition, as can be seen in the photos.
