Description
SquareTrade © AP6.0 GORGEOUS EARLY 1900'S CORNISH & CO. REED PUMP ORGAN & OIL LAMP HOLDERS Click here to check our other auctions for more vintage and modern treasures! We list a very wide variety of VINTAGE AND MODERN items at great low prices! We combine shipping to help save $$$!!Here is an incredible example of a CORNISH & CO. WASHINGTON, NJ reed or pump organ. It is, I believe, made with beautiful deep mahogany. It features a removable, ornate top music holder with 2 rails that extend across to hold sheet music. Also, there are 2 round oil lamp or candle pedestals for lighting. (Oil lamps included!).I don't know how to play but with the correct combination of the pull knobs set, it does play well. The lower keys are weaker sounding so it may need a repair to one of the bellows. It sounds great and has 2 push bars at the knees for altering sound as well as 10 round ornate knobs for different tones. The wood is in great shape and this unit is very sturdy with carrying handles on the sides ! There are a couple of dings to the wood but nothing that is a problem at all. It is beautiful as pictured. The keys are all present with no cracks or damage. They are in very nice shape. 2 of the lower keys stick a bit but this is an easy fix according to the local piano shop. All in all this is a 9 out of 10 especially for it being 100 years old and will look awesome in any room!.I would guess it weighs about 90-110 pounds and my wife and I moved it easily. It is on its original wheels that work smoothly.THIS ITEM IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP AS IT IS LARGE FOR SHIPPING UNLESS THE BUYER ARRANGES AND HAS IT PICKED UP FROM MY LOCATION IN WESTERLY, RHODE ISLAND FOR SHIPPING.PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS.There is nothing else to say about this GREAT old Cornish & Co.reed organ so bid now and don't miss out.If you have zero or any negative feedback, please email us before you bid or your bid may be cancelled.
