This special ebay price in no way reflects the quality and if you were to see these in a london showroom you would expect to pay 2 or 3 times this price. This is a stunning marble surround which has been manufactured using all of the best traditional techniques. It is handcarved out of fine marble and is the highest quality surround available today. The carving on this one is exceptional and it features a classical scene in the central panel surrounded by a greek key inlay. This is complemented with detatched outer columns and a break fronted mantle. The main body is in finely veined white marble and the inset marble is sienna. This combination will look at home in any period building. The pictures do not do it full justice and it looks fantastic. It measures 160cm in width and is 129 cm tall with the inside measurement being 36 inches square to accomodate the most standard sized cast iron insert. This is ready for delivery and viewing now.
