This is a wonderful and huge pair of dishes by the master silversmith, Paul Storr. They weigh a massive 4,572 grams / 147 oz and are very large measuring 16-1/2 inches / 420 mm wide and 10 inches / 254 mm deep. The servers are of exceptional quality and are simply stunning with two wooden mounted handles with leaf decoration and standing on four feet. The interior of the dishes are gilded and have large armorial to the middle - this is the coat of arms of the Earl of Suffolk. Both the front and the back of the dishes are also crested as in the pictures. As stated above, they are of massive proportions measuring 16-1/2 inches / 420 mm wide x 10 inches / 265 mm deep and they stand 3-1/2 inches / 89 mm high. Both servers have matching hallmarks - lion passant, duty mark, letter M for 1807 and maker's mark of PS for Paul Storr. The marks on both pieces are somewhat worn but clearly legible as can be seen in the pictures. Both servers are in excellent condition and are free from dents / damage. They also have excellent patina. I accept payment via Paypal, debit or credit cards as well as personal cheques in Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK bank. For international customers, by arrangement payment may also be done via bank wire transfer. I will post worldwide and I aim to despatch items within 3 days from receipt of payment.
