harrym48 store PAIR FRENCH EMPIRE CABINETS CREDENZAS WITH SEVRES PLAQUES You are viewing a gorgeous pair of French cabinets with hand painted Sevres plaques. I hope the photos do this stunning pair some justice, they're certainly more impressive in the flesh and would make a wonderful addition to any home interiors scheme. True to the Empire style these have some classical motifs such as the black ebonized columns either side. There are also some very intricate ormolu fittings including the column tops, the braided strips, frames to the plaque, key holes and cartouches. The casting is very intricate. Perhaps the biggest drawer to these is of course the hand painted porcelain Sevres plaques featuring flower designs to the main panel, plus to the top there are nine smaller panels with cherub and floral sprays. The hand painted designs are exquisite. The cabinets open out to reveal ample shelved storage space. This pair are exquisite, museum quality, works of art. They are both offered in very good condition ready for home use right away. we bought them from a dealer on London's Pimlico Road and will ship to anywhere in the world.
