Handmade pottery from Peru, a style called blackware. Has wonderful patina, a byproduct of the way it was fired. This appears to be well over 100 years old and is probably preColumbian.  Similar blackware from Peru is dated at 300 BC - 300 AD by the Chimu of Northern Peru. I am not an expert so I cannot be certain. I make no guarantees with regard to age. However, you can return in within 7 days for any reason (you pay postage and insurance both ways). Excellent condition. No signs of cracks or repairs. Slight chip (1/4 in. long x less than 1/16 in. high) on inside of mouth, too small to show in close up photo. Look at top of first photo--slightly visible. Still black on chipped area. This is inconsequential if it is truly as old as I think it is. 5 1/2 inches high, 4 inches in diameter. 10 ounces.
