Both burins are multiple ones: the left one has at least 8 burin blows, the right one 4 (with respect to exterior side, the first picture is taken from the interior one!). Most burin blows are short, ending in hinges, which makes the burins look like a ladder. The distal end between the burins has some splintered use-scars on the interior side. The longest blow at the right edge is stopped by a retouched notch. The tool’s left edge presents a pretty lateral retouch Raw-material: brown flint with yellowish patination Preservation: very well, no modern damages Origin, Site: a famous Gravettian site near the Dordogne valley, Dept.
