Description
This is a beautiful and rare find. The exact age is unknownby me, but in the late 1800's. It is a two peice with the base having one large shelved storage area. The base holds a dry sink and the top has bead board backing and two very large cupboard doors, with several shelves inside. I believe the wood to be pine and the piece possibly from pennsylvania (after doing a little research). I found one piece on an auction site that is smaller but looks very similar and it sold for over $7,000. I will be glad to send the details of that site upon request. The exact height of this peice is 8ft so it would need to have a place where the ceilings are higher than standard. The witdth is 54.5 inches and the deepest part, the base, is 24 inches. This is a very solid peice and in overall good condition. A few scratches and nicks from moving the peices. The dry sink is rusty but no holes and I am not sure if that piece is original or not.
