Description
PLEASE read the Terms & Conditions as stated on my ME PAGE & reached through the Meet The Seller Section. THANKYOU. A stunning very large bifacially knapped Neolithic Capsian Tradition Turtleback Axe made from flint by Homo sapiens sapiens between 8500 & 6500 years ago. Some 18cm x 7.5cm x 5cm in size & from The Sahara Desert, Mali, NW Africa. With a nice all over patina & some light wind polishing. This superb axe is far larger than most Saharan Neolithic axe's & was probably a ceremonial item. It is in near perfect condition with a still very sharp cutting edge. A superb Saharan Neolithic Axe exhibiting very fine workmanship & shaping & RARE at this very large size - as such a great addition to a lithics collection. A HEAVY Lithic - hence P&P costs. Click on the photos & enlarge using the magnification facility in the bottom right corner. UK P&P £5.75p, Airmail Europe £7.95p, Airmail Rest of World £14.95p. Sent uninsured at buyers risk unless buyer asks & pays for insurance at cost. UK buyers - cheque or PO preferred. International buyers PAYPAL ONLY. Reduced single P & P cost for multiple purchases - calculated after bidding ends.
