This roll has a BEAUTIFUL burgundy toned dashed stripe~*~ a really really lovely roll with a wonderful French country look. The texture is beautiful with a medium open weave. Very thick and extremely durable textile, built to last 2 generations so will be wonderful for an heirloom piece etc~*~ the linen is totally machine washable also, however this particular roll is very clean!!! There are some dirt marks on the last half of a yard, otherwise really lovely lovely condition!!!!!!!~*~ a rare treat for sure. I have attached some photographs of some wonderful pieces my designers have created using stripes, ( not included in this buy it now) This roll is in wonderful condition~ this roll has some light storage dirt that will wash, it is just lovely! . ~ ~*~This wonderful fabric has so many uses:STUNNING table runners~*~Upholstery,  bedding, pillows, curtains, clothing, Roman shades, bags, ~ so many wonderful sewing projects~*~   ~*~The woman weavers of yesterday would spend their evenings weaving these amazing rolls of linen. It took the average woman 1 night to weave 60 centimeters ( 24 inches) of linen  ~*~ These rolls are 100%  machine washable, on warm ..if there is visible dirt, just add a bit of Oxywash! I like to add Downy Ultra or similar to the final rinse for added softness. They are so easy to wash, simply spin dry then remove when wet. Roll the linen tightly and let sit overnight. In the morning unroll and allow to dry naturally~ this presses the linen and there is usually no need to iron ( unless you prefer it perfect).   Pure linen or hemp rolls tend to have no shrinkage, the rolls with cotton tend to have some shrinkage ( I always list the content exactly so if I have not listed a cotton warp or weft, then it is pure linen)  . These rolls are tough and sturdy, built to last.....and last and last!! The average age of these rolls is about 100 years old, they are wonderful textile treasures~*~ Hemp is built to last for many many generations making it a lovely textile for creating family heirlooms~*~  All of my linen rolls are produced using natural fibers. Natural fibers have the irregularities and subtleties that are inherent ...adding to their rustic charm~*~     These rolls are increasingly difficult to find as they have been used so extensively over the past 20 years.
