Born in Hopewell New Brunswick 1870-1947.Retired to England,in same town as Lord Beaverbrook,long time friend-business partner.Buried in England.Bennett society in New Brunswick starting a museum.These two boards are 82 inches long by 5 1/2 inches wide.Has name carved in relief,along with symbols on each end.Top condition with gold leaf on name showing some wear.Sailing ship travelled around Nova Scotia in 1920s,came into Ruland Shipyards-Lunenburg in 1930s for repair.These have been in storage since 1930s with a close associate-of Party.Now son selling house -these came up for sale.Important Canadain artifacts -only 2 made.A great addition to any Political -nautical collection-Museum.Signed .Sir.John  A.
