The piece is in excellent condition, in its original Lucite case. The case measures 14 1/2" x 9 1/2"x 6 1/2". The ship is approximately 10" tall x 7 1/2" wide x 4 1/2". This is a custom sculpture made around 1975 for the yacht owner. The ship is bright and shiny, highly detailed, with full sail and a churning sea. It is signed on the rudder "Cartier" on the reverse "STERLING" and the artists signature. A very dynamic and detailed depiction of a thrilling and dangerous sport. The rigging and trim are gold . The base is polished green malachite.
