Dapur supposed to pandai saras. Blade is a bit rusty,but overall still in a very good condition for it`s ages.   Overall length about 67cm. Original sheath, with length about 53cm made from hardwood, supposed kayu mahony/mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni). Upper part fully encased with decorated silver plate, middle part to end tips also banded with silver plates.   Hilt made from gading (elephant iv*ry tusk`s), encased with decorated silver plates and banded with silver wire. An interesting gading pommel shaped like bird head known as cockatoo styled. A very nice patina show it`s ages and usage.     A fine balanced keris that made with fine materials, show the owner upper class social status.     Age : Philippine`s edge weapon, as Indonesia  edge weapon’s usually made without any date marking ,  base on the style , motifs and design , this Keris should be circa late of 19th Century.   Please look at my pictures, i take a lot for you to observe it. I am looking for any question or other information related to this item.     QUALITY GUARANTED !!!
